Yes, I do realize that this is the 3rd day in a row I have blogged. But it has been an exciting week. And I promised to keep you all updated. :)
Today, like any day, I woke up and went to school. I came home, checked myspace, ate one of those frozen burritos, and then drove to Nashville to my manager's office. My mom was actually the one driving but whatever.
It gets interesting when I tell you that from there, we went to GAC to shoot "On The Streets". They can describe it better than me, so this is what that is:
"Every Tuesday new country music hits the stores, and GAC is there to help get the word out about who and what is hot. Tune in each week for a new episode of "On the Streets" as host Suzanne Alexander interviews the artists who have new music to share and rolls out the just-released, brand new videos from all your favorite stars!"
So there you have it :) Their words, copied and pasted perfectly.
When we walked into the dressing room, the first thing I see is Jason Aldean in a leather fringe vest jumping up and down, and trying to take OFF the leather fringe vest. Apparently the random vest in his dressing room wasn't his size. Imagine that. (Come to find out it was Big Kenny's vest, so that explains it.)
But the point isn't that he was wearing a vest. The point is that he was there.
And I talked to him. And he told us stories about CRS his first year, and radio tour, and lack of sleep and such. He was so, so nice.
It was pretty awesome.
Then, Jeff Peterson from @15 and I were interviewed by Suzanne Alexander (who is such a sweetheart, by the way) about the album, and it's going to be aired the whole week that my album debuts :)
I'm so excited that I got to do this, and meet these wonderful people, and add to my great week. Beyond great.
Plus, my manager sent me a picture with Chuck Wicks holding an advance of my album, flashing the peace sign, and winking at the camera. I added it to my photos, if you're interesting in seeing his angel face. Because yes, he has an angel face.
And I get to play the Bluebird Thursday night with my favorite people!
Ahhh great week.
I love you!
Infinite x's and o's,
Jordyn
